RedMontMed is an independent medical research platform that helps patients find the most relevant physicians, surgeons, treatments, clinical trials and patient support groups for their condition — across Canada, the USA, the UK, the EU, the EEA and Switzerland.

It is an information platform only. It does not provide medical advice, make referrals or recommend any specific clinician. All information is for research purposes and to support informed conversations with your own healthcare professionals.

RedMontMed was built by someone who has been through a serious diagnosis and experienced first-hand what it feels like to need reliable information fast — and to find that most online medical directories are commercially influenced, full of paid placements, or simply outdated.

The platform exists for one reason: to give patients access to genuinely independent, merit-based information at the moment they need it most.

No. Absolutely not. No clinician, hospital, pharmaceutical company, medical device manufacturer or any other commercial entity can pay, incentivise or otherwise influence their inclusion or ranking on this platform. This is not a policy — it is hardcoded into the system and stated in the Terms of Service as a legal commitment.

Rankings are based purely on merit: academic impact, trial involvement, institutional standing and clinical expertise. Nothing else.

RedMontMed currently covers 38 countries and over 350 cities across Canada, the USA, the UK, the European Union, the EEA and Switzerland. The UK alone covers 38 cities across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Expansion into Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Far East is planned for a future phase.

RedMontMed covers over 50 serious conditions across oncology, cardiology, neurology, haematology, vascular and spinal specialties. Many conditions are broken down into subconditions and specific types for more precise results — for example, Bladder Cancer breaks down into Non-Muscle-Invasive, Muscle-Invasive and Metastatic subtypes.

Each search returns five sets of results for your condition and location:

3 most relevant physicians — medical specialists with full contact details, hospital affiliation, qualifications and an indication of their clinical standing.

3 most relevant surgeons — as above, specifically for surgical specialists.

3 most common treatments — guideline-endorsed and evidence-based treatments for your specific condition.

5 recruiting clinical trials — active trials you may be eligible for, with eligibility summaries and contact details for the trial team.

6 patient support groups — charities, helplines and patient organisations relevant to your condition and country.

Specialists are ranked on merit only, using five criteria in order: peer-reviewed research impact, leadership in clinical trials and guideline committees, seniority and institutional standing, international recognition, and surgical excellence (for surgeons).

No commercial factor influences ranking. Full details are on the Methodology page.

Search results are cached and refreshed approximately every 30 days. Clinical trial data is synced from primary registries (ClinicalTrials.gov, EU Clinical Trials Register, ISRCTN and others) weekly, so trial recruiting status is as current as possible.

Contact details for specialists are drawn from public sources and may change. Always verify contact details directly through the official hospital or clinic website before making contact.

We recommend using the information as a starting point for a conversation with your own GP or consultant, rather than contacting specialists directly without a referral. In most healthcare systems, specialist appointments are arranged through referral.

Where direct contact details are shown (hospital switchboard, department email, hospital website), always verify them through the official hospital website before making contact, as details may have changed.

Please email corrections@redmontmed.com with the specialist name, the field that is incorrect, and the correct information if you know it. We review every correction and update the record where verified. We are grateful for corrections — they help every patient who searches after you.

The charge covers the cost of running the platform — server hosting, the AI research that generates and ranks results, clinical trial database syncing, and ongoing data verification. Without it, the only alternative revenue model would be advertising or paid placements — which would immediately compromise the independence that makes RedMontMed valuable.

A one-time payment of €29.99 for 30 days of access to independent, verified specialist information is, we believe, genuinely reasonable at the moment a serious diagnosis has been received.

No. Never. All plans are one-time payments. Nothing auto-renews. You will never be charged again unless you choose to purchase a new access pass yourself. Your access simply expires quietly when the period ends — no cancellation is needed, no action is required from you.

No. You only need your email address to receive your access link. There is no account to create, no password to set and no profile to manage. Access is delivered as a magic link — click it to search, save the email to return later.

Yes. Email hello@redmontmed.com from the email address you used to purchase access and we will resend your access link. Please allow up to one working day for a response.

We believe no patient should be denied access to this information because of cost. If the access fee is genuinely a barrier for you, email access@redmontmed.com with a brief note explaining your situation.

We review every request personally and issue free 30-day access tokens to those who need them. There is no formal process, no means test and no judgment — just a brief email is enough.

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Because digital access is granted immediately on purchase, we are not obligated to issue refunds — but we handle every request with good faith. If you have a problem with your access, email hello@redmontmed.com and we will do our best to resolve it.

Only three things: your email address, a Stripe payment reference, and your access token with its expiry date. That is all. When your access expires, your record is deleted automatically.

We use no cookies, no browser localStorage, no tracking and no analytics. We do not store what you search for. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

No. RedMontMed uses no cookies of any kind — not functional, not analytical, not marketing. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

No personal health information is ever sent to the AI. When you search, only the condition name and country are passed to Anthropic Claude to generate results. Your email address, your identity and any other personal information is never transmitted to the AI system.

Switzerland has some of the strongest data protection laws in the world (the revised Federal Act on Data Protection, nFADP) and is considered equivalent to GDPR by the EU. Swiss-hosted servers are outside EU jurisdiction while still providing EU-level privacy protections — and are not subject to US data requests that can affect US-parented cloud providers regardless of where their servers are located.

For a platform handling health-related searches, this matters.
